The ceremony of Diploma Award of the Hamburg University to the POMOR graduates 2011 year will held in the Petrovskiy Hall of the St. Petersburg State University (Universitetskaya nab., 7-9) at 18:00. The Diploma Award coincides with the meeting within the framework of Agreement on cooperation in polar and marine research field between Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation and the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany, as well as the tenth anniversary of the POMOR program.

Lebende Ausstellung - Brennpunkte der deutsch-russischen Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Meeres- und Polarforschung
Im Rahmen des Projektes wird eine "lebende" Ausstellung zu den deutsch-russischen Forschungsvorhaben im Rahmen der Fachvereinbarung über die Zusammenarbeit auf dem Gebiet der Meeres- und Polarforschung zwischen dem Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland und dem Ministerium für Bildung und Wissenschaft der Russischen Föderation veranstaltet. Unter "lebender" Ausstellung ist zu verstehen, dass in die bilateralen Vorhaben eingebundene Studierende und junge Wissenschaftler kleine Vorträge halten und zu den Exponaten und ihrer jeweiligen Arbeit in Ergänzung zu den ausgestellten Postern berichten. Die Ausstellung wird nacheinander an fünf strategischen Standorten zu sehen sein: an der Staatlichen Universität Sankt Petersburg, an der Universität Moskau, im Deutschen Museum in München, in Bonn und im Mai 2012 in Berlin. Die Ausstellung wird am 14.10.2011 in Sankt Petersburg feierlich durch die russische Vizeministerin für Bildung und Wissenschaft Frau Inna P. Bilenkina und den Parlamentarischen Staatssekretär für Bildung und Forschung Thomas Rachel eröffnet.

12th Bilateral Meeting between the Ministry of Education and Science of Russian Federation (Minobrnauki) and the Ministry of Education and Research of Germany (BMBF) took place on the 3th and the 4th of December at the Arctic and Antarctic Research Insitute of Roshydromet (Saint-Petersburg). The joint Master program for applied polar and marine sciences POMOR was estimated as an excellent and very successful model of the russian-german academic cooperation
